Not normally advertising specific products here at healthandbeautyreviews.co.uk, one of the main beauty worries of many women has been the appearance of stretch marks during and after pregnancy.
Often unsightly and particularly mentally damaging, stretch marks appear when the skin is stretched and contracted over a short space of time, almost like a tear that forms clear or reddish blue scar tissue that can halter your perceptions of how people look at you.
Although there are different creams and ointments out there, one that keeps springing to mind is Bio-Oil. Developed to combat the appearance of scars, puck skin from acne and of course stretch marks, Bio-Oil is one of the most effective remedies for skin imperfections and blemishes and offers great results for many users the world over.
Easily purchased from many outlets including pharmacies, beauty shops and salons, and supermarket stores across the UK, Bio-Oil is one lotion that no mum to be should be without. Available as an oil or in other mediums such as a face cream and moisturiser, Bio-Oil products are well established and offer good results, even on older scar tissue and imperfections.

In today’s world there has never been as much emphasis on Mens Health and Beauty than in the last ten years, marking an important step in the social development of the male species and the parting of ways for the tradition view of man’s sceptical view towards grooming and skincare routines.
Let’s face it, we are no longer in an age where a grufty appearance, masses of chest hair and the aroma of a well worked man are points that were considered once attractive to females. Instead many males are possible more conscious of their appearance than their partners, spending great deals of time pruning and grooming themselves.
Either in the bathroom, attending spa sessions or applying facial scrubs and exfoliating masks, there are many activities that are attributed to making you look and feel better and are now more accepted within society. I am not trying to say that males have in any way become more effeminate but more over understand the importance in maintaining a well groomed appearance.
With many Men’s Health Magazines available and with mixed sex gyms and salons, more and more men are being introduced to the benefits of a good health and beauty regime.
